Disagree. Thought Arrival was excellent.
Now LaLaLand on the other hand.....there is an overhyped pile of 'meh' if I have ever seen it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Utter garbage mate. That scene at the start was an abomination on the senses. No story, no acting, poor songs, amateurish dancing. Like the Fackin green brigade without the drummers.
Oscars are a joke.

Not that I care about the oscars, or have even seen arrival, but it was pretty funny that the Oscars announced on their website that Amy Adams was getting nominated for best female actor and then didn't get the award
Arrival is highly overrated, I wouldn't say it's sh!t though.
Manchester by the Sea was good, took me back to watching the champ, things kept getting into my eye's...
LaLa Land can fk right off, sick of these musical every 2nd year...
I've not seen them all but Hell or high water was great and would get my vote for the big one.

Hell or High Water was indeed very good
Hell or Highwater was brilliant
Amy Adams is tasty, bet she's wild in the sack too.
I thought Arrival was decent, seems to be getting underrated if anything on here as it definitely isn't a pile of pants.

Not seen Arrival yet but read the short story it was based on a few years ago.
Really interesting premise which I didn't think would be film able at all so will be interesting to see how it panned out.
