bestforkodi.com is good.
Not sure what app you use for these films, but sometimes developers move on so the app dies.
Best to get something like Wookie - a host platform for apps - which has the best apps on it.
I tend to update (ie remove and reinstall) mine quite regularly to ensure I have the best available.

I had the same thing with my Kodi box. I just gave up in the end to be honest.

You can log on to a site and pair using the box though, the box should have an Internet browser on it. Just don't pin your hopes on it working.

I use Exodus and Genesis

I used Exodus last night with no problem, maybe it needs an update?

Auto update are set as on ... I will try uninstalling Kodi and putting it back on then.

I've got a Fire Stick and have Exodus for the films/TV and SportsMania (paid subscription - not expensive) for the football.

I find it great and very watchable as long as I clear the cache from time to time.

I've given up with this things. They seem to give up the ghost or need constant updating (which I have no clue how to do so end up relying on someone). I had a kodi black box thing.

Will just take it on the chin and continue to pay SKY ridiculous amounts of money each month.

Just make sure you have an idea of how to load the apps before you do it

Youtube is great to help with this Delboy - I've done it a few times now and its fairly straightforward to reinstall. I use Exodus and Pheonix for films and tv and Sports devil for football. The links started doing that with me to - telling me to pair box on a site - just ignore it and either click back once or click ok and the film still starts.

Or what D'jeezus says - bestforkodi is good.

What I found was that when going on torba when that box for pairing cines up simply click the cancel button and it loads up

Sometimes it has to be cancelled a couple or more times as its loading. Its a matter of seconds though

Kodi isn't really hasssle its a good way to watch shows and movies for free.

A lot if times its not knowing what works and what won't. The settings alone are not understood by me an di have used kodi for years

This website has all the guides.

I only install kodi with the exodus and sports devil app then create my own build(just a basic front page with the two apps on it and a favorite button.). That way it keeps the updating down to a minimum and doesnt slow the system down(i use a firestick which has low processing power).

Thats the other site, seo-michael

Appreciate it boys, You know the way it is you cant ever really be ar$ed doing things like this to fix it but once you finally get the finger out and learn you realise that its pretty straight forward from then on.

Up to last night I was in love with it !!

Cheers

If you looking for a sky substitute and have a dish installed already i would go for a zgemma hs2(£80) box personally.

Juts plug in sky cables and broadband cable and buy a "gift" code from ebay or tech kings(go for the more expensive ones £30 a yearish) and you have full sky for buttons. Side load kodi onto it and all your on demand stuffs sorted.

P.s. You can get cheaper boxes like the onebox for £30 but you cant record, pause etc and you cant sideload kodi.

They prompt when an update is available

I switch mine on and it works.

If something went wrong it'd be binned. As rnr says, sometimes these things are just too much hassle and aggravation for very little reward.

Even if you have auto update on, I sometimes find that all the recent films on exodus are not there, but if I go in and manually update (settings, addons, video addons, exodus, update), that everything comes back again.

That and clearing the memory on my box are the two things I try first when I find there are problems, and 9 times out of 10, it works.

Sportsmania was actually down for about 2 mins last night, and considering the small amount of money people are paying to get such a good a service from the guys that run SM, the amount of moaning and greeting some folk were doing coz they missed a few minutes of the Liverpool/Celtic game etc was utterly ridiculous.
