What save did he make. I only remember two weak shots straight at him?

The low shot from Borini.

because he isnt as good as De Gea, Courtois or Lloris, so he isnt good enough for every team.

i do agree though he is too good to be sitting on your bench

Not as good as De gea? Perhaps you're forgetting De gears blunders in Euro and at home against Chelsea and West ham last season.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
are you seriously shiiitting me
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Come on seriously. I'm a Spurs fan who believes Vorm is a great back up who would get into a lot of EPL sides however you are being crazy. No way is Vorm better than one of the best keepers in the world. That's like saying Walcott is better than Bale. For me only Neur and Buffon are better than him at this current time.

TBF Dawn often has, erm, different opinions.

good 2nd choice would get in a mid table first team. Probably not even in the top 2/3 best back up keepers in the league though

Phenom raises an interesting question.....who are the best backup keepers in the league?

Begovic
Joel
Vorm
Pickford
Palaces backup (Mandada, Speroni or Hennessy whichever one)

Perhaps he just happens to like his place in the world which I find kind of endearing in this age of greed and self above all others.

Now now he's a decent keeper but let's not start overrating him. He could be a PL first choice but to what level exactly?

Lloris
De Gea
Cech
Courtois
Butland
Forster
Mandanda
Begovic

All comfortably better than Vorm.

Vorm stays because he's well paid to stay.
And now that is paying off for him!

I dunno some players are just ok with it. He has the added stress of the fact that no matter how bad lloris plays and lord knows he was bad last time out that loris is captain so very unlikely to be dropped.

I think vorm suffers from being a bit rusty. He needs 90 minutes in close succession to get up to speed.

Good number 1, average number 2. Some keepers are just like that sadly.

Then again there are certain keepers stealing a living out there I will never understand fabianski who I watched many many times at youth level make the same basic mistakes he makes now.

Never been totally sure whether a player would prefer regular first team football for a lower salary than if he was in the reserves for a higher one. I'd have thought the former.

In another team's reserves that is,

whilst he's a good shot stopper, his distribution is simply awful. So many kicks straight into touch, fannnies around looking to play it out. Don't rate him at all personally.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

His kicking is better than Lloris.
