He's assembled a very good squad, but when 6-7 players have an absolute stinker in the same game it's hard to get 3 points
'He's assembled' you make it sound like he's spent along yime thinking about it, not just throwing money at targets that even someone who knows little about football would have heard of.
Lol assembled a good squad
Bailly £30M crock
Pogba £89M flop
Micky £30M on hype and nothing else
All players which scouts would have been aware of in 0.2 seconds flat.
Do we even bother with scouting at United?
I don't see how our scouts would have been aware of Pogba before he was at Juventus though
He has a £600,000,000 squad, that mostly relies upon launching long balls to Frank Zappa up front.
I think he'll come good, the question for me is whether he'll come good enough without ruffling too many feathers along the way. He set the bar so high when he first arrived at Chelsea, he brought this air of confidence which spread across the whole club, at United he arrived having had a stinker and people asking questions. That alone makes a difference, he told Lampard he was the best in his position in the world and he arguably became that, would a player take the same impact now? The league is also more competitive now.

Considering it was a job not suited to him at the time of appointment honesty think he's done alright. The squad was large and unbalanced as hell when he got there (complete opposite of what he aims for), and that's still a work in progress. Should be doing better I agree, but historically Mourinho teams begin gelling in season 2 so he has the benefit of the doubt there + they have been extremely unlucky in certain games, he's not making that up to cover his ar$e.
Still think he should've gone to PSG then onto United in 2/3 years. That would've been a nice transitional job (similar to what Inter was for him) where the worst he could do was fail to win the Champions League. At a time when his reputation is hanging precariously, going straight to United was a massive gamble which at the moment could go either way.

Nah he's mentally wrong. Brain bubbles most likely. He detests Man U and everything they stand for.

Actually doing well imho. Better football from a supporter's perspective and a better record from a rival's perspective.. all while adding to his youth list.
soccer?lol.
