The irony of a liverpool fan mocking a spurs fan for not winning the league.
£900m spent - c. £100m less than United, and until c. 3 seasons ago they had actually outspent United during the PL era - and the only member of the original big 4 not to win the title.
Imagine being told in 1990 that a team beginning with the letter "L" would, 25 years later, win their first ever PL...hands up who would have plumped for Leicester?

The irony is on you Don after that shambles of a comment.
Not very well thought through at all.

"The irony of a liverpool fan mocking a spurs fan for not winning the league"
Yeah, imagine fans of a club who've won the league 18 times mocking fans of a club who've won the league twice, the last time being the early 60's.
Even in the 26 years since we've won the title we've won 3 times the trophies Spurs have.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
someone recently told me once that liverpool had won the league before, but all they could provide as proof was some grainy black and white footage, all i could make out was a bloke with a tache constantly passing it back to the GK.
about as convincing as tales of the loch ness monster, or bigfoot.

the biggest irony on this site this year has been your lot crowing about winning the net spend trophy - "we're not going to win anything, again, but we're going to win nothing having spent less than you".
£900m spent for no PLs - more than any other team that hasn't won it. you've spent over half a billion pounds in the past 7 years, for one top 4 finish and a league cup.

Interestingly, Carra also said last night how Chelsea have been given a "massive advantage" not having Europe this season. Funny how that same advantage hasn't exactly been taken by Liverpool.

This sort of rubbish does make me laugh, why would Jamie C worry about Spurs problems? As a Liverpool man surely Spurs inadequacies would please rather than concern him. We were God awful on Saturday but the crops haven't failed yet.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah why would someone who gets paid to be a football pundit comment on other football teams? A real mystery alright.
Carragher talks about Spurs bottle job. Why are you are turning this about Liverpool and Chelsea ?
Or twelve other clubs. The six games in six months weighing heavy is it?
