I think most Liverpool fans have more or less given up on Sturridge now haven't they? I have certainly. Was an excellent player, now he's almost always injured and when he does play looks like a shadow of the player he was. Sad but true.

I'd always have Coutinho in. He can produce something from nothing and we really don't have enough of those players to bench one!

I think Klavan might come in for Lucas but otherwise will be the same team as Monday.

Ya from what I've seen and I don't watch Liverpool every week he seems to have gone off the boil too as well as Lallana.

Before his injury he was unstoppable, that game against Palace comes to mind where his passing, movement and vision was beyond class.

Such a shame his form skyrocketed. There's a few factors for this. He came back from injury to a team out of sorts, and also him becoming the club's highest paid player all of a sudden plays a part in his psyche I'm sure.

It's happened before with Coutinho and I'm not sure it's entirely due to his injury.

Coutinho seems to be a fabulous player to have when things are going well. When he has movement around him and confidence is flowing through the team he's a joy. When things aren't going well and others look to him for inspiration he kind of wilts. It's happened a couple of times in the last couple of years.

It's not necessary a bad thing, very few players have the Suarez or Gerrard ability to respond when everybody looks to them and drag the level up. Maybe it'll come with age but I suspect Coutinho will only ever look top class in a team on form.

We will keep the same winning formula against the top 6 sides. Firmino will be the none scoring false 9. No matter what the result is we can't be fooled into thinking that this formula will work against the lesser sides.
