Yan Bingtao or Alex Ursenbacher will be in the main draw. That's at least one new name.
Evans on the brink. Williams struggling now too.
Just bought a couple of tickets for next Mondays 10am session. Be watching Ding or Bingham. Will find out when I get there!
Gary Wilson the first qualifier through, beats Michael White 10-3. Mark King on the brink, as is amateur Ursenbacher.
Michael White is a good player, brutal qualifiing
Agreed. Luca Brecel beats Dominic Dale. Few more through now as well. Still some more afternoon matches in progress though.
Ebdon has qualified, 10-9 again over Holt
Mark Williams beaten 10-7
Fergal O'Brien wins 10-9, deciding frame lasted 123 minutes - longest in snooker history!
Quite a few on facebook reckon Wilson will beat him. I'm going on Monday so might get chance to see some of the all-China affair involving Ding!
More likely to be watching the conclusion of the Bingham v Ebdon match though
Mark Selby v Fergal O'Brien
Anthony McGill v Stephen Maguire
Kyren Wilson v David Grace
John Higgins v Martin Gould
Barry Hawkins v Tom Ford
Marco Fu v Luca Brecel
Shaun Murphy v Yan Bingtao
Judd Trump v Rory McLeod
Stuart Bingham v Peter Ebdon
Ronnie O'Sullivan v Gary Wilson
Ryan Day v Xiao Guodong
Ding Junhui v Zhou Yuelong
Neil Robertson v Noppon Saengkham
Mark Allen v Jimmy Robertson
Liang Wenbo v Stuart Carrington
Ali Carter v Graeme Dott
Hopefully some good matches. 5 debutants I believe.
Enjoy RKW, Ronnie won't slip up in the first round. Ignore the Ronnie haters
I'll go for:
Selby
Maguire
Grace
Higgins
Hawkins
Fu
Murphy
Trump
Ebdon
Ronnie
Xiao
Ding
N Robertson
Allen
Liang
Dott
RKW, what is Ronnie's route this year? I fancy Trump.
O`Sullivan can possibly face Murphy in the last 16, Ding in the quarters and any of Selby, Robertson or Fu in the semis

Looking at that, Selby should reach the quarters and could face Robertson. Murphy in the next round for Ronnie is tough, then it would be Ding - or more than likely a Chinese player. Big audience that.
Anyone watching 40 years at the Crucible?
I watched the last hour of it, was pretty good.
Hopefully it's available on iplayer. Want to watch it in the morning before the first matches.
I wonder who will provide the upsets this year? Looking beyond the usual suspects, I think Kyren Wilson and McGill could have decent runs.
