They are 9 points clear of 5th place with a game in hand so I think they have enough to secure a play off spot.
Highly doubt they will come up via the play offs though and it's more than likely the team that finishes 2nd bottom will stay up once more.

I remember we got Morton in the cup a few years back and there was mayhem outside with the casuals having a wee barney rubble.
Always thought they got on as well

depends who finishes 2nd bottom, I think both Motherwell and Hamilton would be beaten by Falkirk or Morton, ICT despite being bottom I think would survive the play offs if they managed to climb a place
I'd take either of Killie/ICT/Hamilton going down.
Ideally two of them go down.
ideally Motherwell and Killie

Morton are coming up.
They are winning games even when they are not playing well.
Then Duffy becomes Scotland manager.
Hamilton and Killie down for me as unlikely as it is. Get rid of they pitches in the top flight
I'll settle for Ross County as the away day, pubs are closer to the stadium.
One closest to ICT stadium is in merchant city fs.
I want one of them down
I've said all season that we won't come up in the play-offs.
We're not a very good team.
Ivan, would you take coming up with that squad only to be sent back down again next year?
Or do you think another year is needed with a better quality of player to get ready?
Much like Rangers did in a sense.
I wouldn't want to be relegated again so I'd probably take another year but it's all rudimentary really. We're staying up.
I think we've had two shots on target in 2 games - both resulting in goals from our only forward who looks likely to score at any point.
It's all very depressing.

3rd in the Championship is no different from 4th. So as long as you are clear of 5th then only 2nd gives you an advantage
Smid - if we don't come up we'll be in significant financial trouble and our descent into administration would fully depend on the willingness of Thompson to put his hand in his pocket (unlikely) and the willingness of other wealthy fans to help stave it off (unlikely given the alleged fallouts between them and Thompson).
As for McKinnon, there are already those within the United support questioning if he's good enough. I feel he has made mistakes, not least because he has put together a completely unbalanced squad, but I feel any calls for him to be removed are hugely premature and are being made by fans who have a sense of entitlement.
The biggest issue at the club is that we are heading for a civil war between fans and it's going to be very unpleasant being a United fan until the club gets promoted again.
