Rapt as a fan 2/10 very abusive

Im glad Jansen went for the shot. Thought it was a decent effort. Thought he was a six. Won us a few free kicks to slow the game down at the death.

Thought Janssen did ok bar that flick, he won some valuable free kicks in the dying minutes which helped us run the clock down and you can understand him shooting instead of squaring it when he is desperate for goals (Kane often does the same).

Dembele, Eriksen and JV probably Spurs` best performers

Agree with most but Janssen. Don't personally think the all into dele was on imo

Good shot & won a corner out of the situation. Then he won 4 or 5 more and killed the game for Southampton.

7 for me

Trippier 4 absolutely awful when he came

Lloris 5 kicking is bollox

Walker 8 incredible
Dier 6 done a job
Toby 5 rare off day fault for their goal
Vert 7 beast got forward regularly in attack
Davies 7 good game

Wanyama 4 passing was beyond shocking
Dembele 7 very good on the ball but needed to shoot more

Eriksen 8 very good first half, match winning goal
Alli 4 poor game, always falls over

Son n/a didn't do anything

Winks 8 great passion when he came on
Trippier 4 poor when came on
Janssen 8 should of came on earlier, showed more in 5 mins than son did in 70

I wish Dembele shoots more often gets into good positions to do so.

Winks starting to show theres more to him than being neat and tidy.

Don't know if it's by orders of Poch or just the players who do it but I'm getting frustrated with the way we basically drop off and stop playing with about 25 mins left if we're only a goal up. Did it vs Newcastle, Arsenal and West Bore last season and we dropped points in all of them. That's too long to try and see a game out.

Janssen looked dead at the end even though he had only played 10 mins, what a bloke

Hoping this was a rare underpar performance by the likes of Toby and Wanyama (Wanyama was OK but not his best).

You have to say we missed Kane but still got the job done.

Always going to miss a player like Kane as our team is basically set up for him.

His hold up play is so underrated

We didn't really play today & yet won.

Dele was not on song, Wanyama made more errors today than he has done for the previous 27 matches

Toby strangely not on his usual game either.

Son was okay but nothing seemed to go for him in the first half, thought we might have brought Janssen on for him around 60 minutes.

Winks is looking the real deal, great control and a bit of pace too, can also handle himself if it gets rough

Janssen looked good in his cameo role, it is extremely difficult for a player to come on with just 4-5 minutes of normal time left & pick up the pace & flow of a game. Vincent did very well & his shot was heading for the top corner of the goal before Foster tipped it round the post. Think he deserves a 6.5 at least for his work ethic when he came on.

Southampton were much the better side in the 2nd half & I think we did well to hold on to win all 3 points.

Now we have two weeks to wait until the Burnley game, which contrary to some opinions I think will be a very hard match to win.

Trippier gave his four of his first five passes away when he came on. Struggled.

As far as I'm concerned Jansen helped us massively to manage that game in the end. His hold up play allowed us to kill the match.

I saw the first 30 mins but missed the rest of the game as I was working. Why did Trippier come on? Was Walker injured?

No and didn't look to be struggling either
