Still people will slag him off but it's because they don't like him. Anyone who thinks he's not a good player is an idiot.
So marginally better record for England then even though Kane gets slated for England?

Kane has pretty much started all 17 and Vardy has pretty much been on the bench for all of his appearances. Everyone picks Kane as their main England striker but 6 from 16 off the bench v 5 from 17 starting speaks for itself. Vardy should be England's main striker.

Don't think you can argue with either being near the team. Kane and Vardy are probably our best hopes up front at the moment. Until Rashford develops anyway.

Vardy's pace will help him have an impact off the bench, but Kane deserves more of a chance too. Judging him just on the Euros would be foolish. He was good before that.

Kane, Defoe and Vardy gives us three different options. I want Rashford to develop but he needs to be doing it at United first before he's considered a starter for England.
I'd take either before Sturridge.

He wasn't that great though that's the problem, he just scored a few goals against easy opposition. He did nothing when we played Spain and Germany, he looked completely out of his depth. Vardy on the other hand looked at home.
The goal Vardy scored tonight was nothing to do with pace, it's the type of goal he'd score if playing for any top club. This idea that he's just pace is ludicrous because his finishing and positioning is excellent. Tonight's goal is not what you'd call a typical Vardy goal but he's got that in him too.

Eh? Did nothing against Germany? I take it you forgot his goal when he did the Cruyff turn?
He had something like 5 goals in 9. He was good. Vardy hasn't always been great himself despite his goals especially when he himself has started games. Like I said about his pace, that makes him a useful sub in the way Rashford was today too.
The truth is Kane is the better striker out of the 2. You could see that with his form before he got injured. I'd start Kane up front in a 3-4-2-1 formation and then bring on Vardy when we need some pace.
