I've noticed that the "stalker" label is typically thrown out there by people who often talk garbage and consistently get called on said garbage. They'll seek to deflect the negative attention associated with being called on their nonsense by attempting to paint a picture of the other person as having a petty personal issue with them. Might not be the case with you, but that's just the trend I've identified.
