The actually play very well with each other.
Thinking Wycombe fa cup game & Middlesboro away they linked up great then too.
Definitely need to have a pacey player to play off Janssen as his hold up play is prettt good.
Just need some goals
Think it's great to have the Janssen style of player for exactly these types of games.
I've been pleased with him really. Know he gets a lot of stick. You can't question his workrate or desire and he appears to have technical qualities too. There's potential for a good player in there. A useful squad option. Still need another striking alternative too but as an option for his style of play - I'm happy with what I've seen so far and looking forward to seeing him progress.

He did well for the third as well tbf Janssen, good hold up play to set up Dele's run.
Also did us a favour flattening Fabianski with his fat aaaaarse.

Yeh his hold up play has never been doubted but I just want him to be a bit more ruthless infront of goal. He showed that in spurts recently and his willingness to clatter fabianski for a goal was great
Anyone notice how Alli keeps shouting at him?

The importance of that superb flick for Sons goal can't be overstated. We are unlikely to catch Chelsea but that win has kept the hope alive and the players must be feeling unbeatable. I hope he stays as I think he will be much better equiped for the Prem having had this seasons experiences.
Yeah
I think their good mates off the pitch so hopefully nothing more to it but I think he knows that Son can make bad decisions...for instance the goal Son scored last night - he could've squared that to Alli (who took up another perfect position). Had he not scored he would've taken pelters.
Dele always shouts at him and Son, I think they both are very frustrating players.
Oh I assumed he meant shouting at Son. I notice that nearly every game. Haven't noticed the shouts at Janssen yet.

I think Alli has that Ronaldo divaesque temperament about him, which might be a good thing. Shows how much he wants to win and get goals.

Dele gets frustrated with Son a lot. He wasn't happy with that volley over the bar last night when he was steaming in behind. Did the same the other week about 10 seconds before Son scored a screamer
He did have a dig at Vinny last night, he wanted the ball and didn't get it. They had a few words but it looked like it was soon forgotten
Good article Don
I've liked the look of Janssen. Apart from the odd performance earlier in the season. You'd hardly think we were missing our best player these last few games, credit to Sonny and Vinny.
I think he has done enough to earn another season and more time to prove himself.
Noticed Dele having a moan at Janssen for going for goal, other way round Dele would of done the same.
Bloody whinge bag

He is slowly finding his feet for Spurs, hopefully his confidence will continue to improve now that he is contributing key moments to the team effort.
I think to begin with he has been trying too hard to impress, and snatching at chances rather than relaxing in front of goal. He needs a few goals to get his confidence back and then I think we will see a useful squad member.
I'm going to bet that Janssen starts scoring goals. That all he needs to do now to seal his place in this team.
And we need another goal scorer!
