Morata's fee? Part in possible Hazard deal?

This is all the usual Real Madrid tactics of using their newspapers to get to the player. In the past it has often worked.

However, on this occasion I think Perez is going to find a feckin horse's head in his bed shortly.

In the current market Hazard is worth £125

Before digging into the details of the rumours, it's worth paying attention to the source. Don Balon are the one responsible for the latest Chelsea - Real Madrid gossip, and it's fair to say that this website has a poor record in getting the rumours right.

While every broken clock is right twice a day, u suggest that you ignore hitting the panic button until a far more reputable source confirm the news.

This is another example of why I find Real Madrid such a disgusting club, possibly the most reprehensible in the world.

Keep feeding lines to their mouth piece Marca to unsettle their target with suggestions of throwing in their unwanted bit part players to get the worlds best players even cheaper.

They remind me of an international playboy, that when he sees someone elses with a beautiful wife or girlfriend, he has to make it his life's ambition to $hag that wife or girlfriend.

The only difference between that International playboy and Real Madrid is, the International playboy doesn't announce publicly that he's going to $hag your wife or girlfriend in the press!

Yeah I was thinking that. If Everton can supposedly slap a £100 million price tag on Lukaku then Hazard is worth well in advance of that.

No way. I don't want morata, Lukaku is the striker we should be going for. If we want someone in return for hazard it has to be one of their proper stars like Bale or Modric. If they can't give us one of them then they need to just give us the money.

Flash, I've got to say ,that I think Morata, would be made for Chelsea. He has a good pedigree,is intelligent and would work well with the other players in our squad, plus Conte knows him and likes his style.

Then lets put a fair bid in for him separately and walk away when Real overprice him, and not any of this, make him part of a make weight in a Hazard deal nonsense.

If RM want Hazard, let them put a realistic bid in and then fleece the avaricious feckers!

Bring on Morata.

Another one of these part exchange/swap rumours which I just laugh at. Never happening. Doesn't exist.

I'm definitely warming to Morata although it all depends on price. If Real start talking about £50-£60 million for a squad player then they can forget it imo.

Brummie ,I shall be watching two of your favourite teams tonight ,RM and Bayern,I wonder if Morata will get a game ?.

I don't really care harle, I have no interest in RM, BM or Morata!

50m + Morata.

I'll be happy with that, nothing less.

yep, part exchange deals are so rare but people seem to band them around as if it is common place

ps
Morata is Chit
hes not really a proper striker, doesnt really fit anywhere and plays very deep we need a striker adept at finding space in the box, not drifting into the number 10 role and popping up with the odd goal

Mons my assumption is that Morata would play alongside another striker. I don't see him as a like for like replacement for Costa by any means.

Morata is a fine striker, he's done well whenever called upon this season. But, he is not I would go for, I think there are better strikers and would fit better in our style of players.

Conte seems to rate him highly, maybe we should trust his judgment on this one.

I'll be pleased with Morata leading our line (even if he's not my first choice).
The cheapest and most cost-effective out of the lot of strikers linked for sure, Madrid can't possibly demand over 50m.

50m and Morata

Not a chance for a player who downed tools for a season and wouldnt get in ahead of Bale.

Hazard will go for around 80m
Morata will go for around 50m

Morata isn't anywhere near enough of a prolific scorer to be able to lead the line for us.

If we buy him, we'd need to also get another world class goalscoring attacker like Sanchez or at the very least a goalscoring CM to slot in next to Kante.

Things can change very quickly in football and I get good vibes under the right conditions Morata being main man can turn into a prolific goalscorer.

Been many examples over the years of players having underwhelming goals stats (Morata's isn't actually that bad considering in and out of the team) then move to another club and it just clicks into place on the goalscoring front.
I believe Morata will be one.

Missing out Sanzhez actually doesn't bother me.
Plenty more fish in the sea that can/will make similar impact in the future at a fraction of the price and younger.

Trust the club to be sensible enough not to blow £50m + £300k wages for 29 year old in last year of contract.

Agree on goalscoring midfielder.
Nainggolan might be that player club try to sign again.
I want him and Tielemans at Chelsea, in the summer.

Another thing which gets overlooked when talking about Sanchez is he loses the ball an awful lot in key areas for opposition to counter.

Huge CL goals against Dortmund in last 16 both legs, Bayern Munich semi-final both legs and Barcelona final.

Cracked scoring and performing against the biggies. Odd.
