i think if this is to be restarted then someone else should run it and it should be done with 2 leagues
two mini leagues so you can get promoted / relegated?
how about a pro clubs mini league too..

the problem with a league with say 12 members is that those below the top 4 may get bored if they aren't fighting for anything

2 random leagues of 6 each
Top 4 progress in each
1st plays 4th 2nd plays 3rd two legs in each
Then the winner plays the winner of each
Then the winner of league a plays the winner of league b in an 8 minute match
