Some players in who can make it through the CL qualifiers

posted on 21/5/17

I suspect you will see a young lb come in with Milner starting actually.

Keita rumours look solid.

I would love Lacazette.

Timo Werner and Brandt look solid rumours too.

I can see us going big for VVD so we just have to hope that Chelsea, City and Utd have bigger worries than £50m cbs.

So half a new team then at a cost of...?

And Klopp isn't a chequebook manager, he just develops players?

Virg will he get game time at CFC?, Utd aint CL hopefully while City, well..they could do with him actually, lets see what Klopp does.

Hull LB is actually a good shout, supposed to be quality if you listen to their fans.

Should be some interesting development of players

I'm still hoping we get a new goalkeeper.

I know Mignolet has had a decent end to the season but by and large, he has been a poor goalkeeper for Liverpool FC.

There was an incident at Southampton were a relatively simple ball was booted out of play and possession was lost. He always has this in his locker and we'll pay the price if we keep him.

Following that, it has to be 2 new central defenders, a holding midfielder and a striker.

Thus, lots of changes.

Do you honestly think you would have any chance of getting Mbappe?

Mentioned it the other day on the tranny thread but would love us to go for Iheanacho from City. Available for just £20m which is a bargain these days. Looks a natural goal scorer.

Depends who bids for mbappe. Bayern, madrid ect then no, but we can compete with many others.

Madrid apparently had a £103m bid turned down. I find that hard to believe but this lad is the hottest property in world football. If he's available, Liverpool don't stand a chance of getting him as all the bigger clubs will be there for him too.

i hope we get douglas costa. He and mane on bith wings will be superb.

i dont think we need a keeper anymore. Mig has rolled his sleeves up.

van dyke would be nice but doubt we can get him.

we def need another striker, who i dont know.

Met this guy down the pub after the game, said his Nan's brother's wife knows Mbappe's dogwalker. Nailed on he reckons.

Mancs taking Got Better seriously

And guys, Keita isn't a DM, he's box to box.We won't be signing a DM.

Henderson and Can are our deep midfielders.

I would say Mignolet's entire season has been decent, not just the end. He did nothing wrong before he was dropped and I can't remember doing anything wrong since he came back in either.

He messed up against Hull which probably lost us a point.

He hasn't made many errors though. I didn't think he started the season very well in the first few games but was in good form by the time he was dropped.

Since Hull he has barely made a mistake.

Also it's become very apparent in the last few games that he has been working on the weakest area of his game, coming and claiming aerial balls.

Mig is a solid keeper, we won't better him. And there's no point buying one of the younger "prospects" again as they won't get the game time to develop.

We have more pressing concerns, another winger, LB, CB, and replacements for Sturbridge and Lucas if they should leave.
