You couldn't afford him then and certainly not now. Not sure when you and Spurs fans will realise that you are not the top payers in the league. And such are even more vulnerable than us to losing players. I know we will replace Ozil with Coutinho.

Well you're wrong because we matched the Arsenal offer for the fee and offered him more wages, he chose Arsenal which at the time was the right decision.

Having to carry the club for 2 years has taken it's toll on him and he needs a fresh start at a club that will give him what he needs.

We can also afford him if we choose to.

You cannot. Thats why Coutinho is being linked to others clubs. And he is under control by your club far longer than we are with Alexis.

Every chance skip if we decide to pursure him, how we got to the CL is moot as we're there now and Sanchez would be a good addition to our talented squad.
