WHAT A SHOT
----------------------------------------------------------------------
A bout time he landed that
----------------------------------------------------------------------
it's his 10th fight ffs guy is still a novice
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Lomachenko has had less fights and is a two weight world champion.
I doubt we will see him in a real fight for at least another 10 fights.
Good news for channel 5 though

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Romero vs whittaker
Werdum vs Overeem
2 lesbians
The body punching won the fight for Josh, that coupled with Davies being wild as ****. You can't take that many left hands to the body, especially from a southpaw, the extra leverage on the left hand makes a huge difference.
And Anthony Yarde is no good. Buatsi is the guy to watch at 175 from the UK, he's a monster.

Tell me when Taylor fights the level of fighter Lomachenko took in his first fight.
Davies was so open so one dimensional, throwing big single shots like that leaves you so open.
Shooting fish in a barrel for any decent boxer
Orlando Salido was a 34 year old journeyman ffs
Taylor vs Burns would be a massacre, not even remotely competitive. Don't even think Burns would beat Davies

Made his debut a few weeks ago. Looked good in the Olympics. A couple years away from challenging for a world title
D4 dress it up how you want, he still lost.
Taylor has had 10 fights, he's still a novice and learning, not all fighters are a one-off like Lomachenko. Some have 20-25 + fights before they even take a step, so give credit where it's due to Taylor
Be an epic show though Burns v Taylor

Bit like saying Rangers vs Celtic is big

Absolutely. He's got a real pro style, guy is a real body snatcher, folks aren't gonna be able to cope with that kind of sustained body attack.
Buatsi and Bivol two of my favourite prospects in the sport

Got to get China checked first.
Yarde has looked very comfortable so far.
Lots of big fights to be made at that weight.

Of course, gotta see his heart, will and chin tested, but skillwise, he's all there for me.
Yarde I'm not sold on, not been impressed at all. He's a bit too stiff for me liking, he's got very little amateur experience as well, so it might be a while before we see him fight somebody who punches back.
175 along with 147 is my fav weight class, lots of good fights to be made for sure

Yeah he has been comfortable in his fights with his opponent unable to hurt him. Does look accurate and mixes up his punches well.
credit to josh taylor he was up for it and had the crowd behind him.
OH Davies was absolutely awful. reckless and rash throughout. no discipline. got put down by a jab before a wonder ko for the 2nd knockdown
In boxing you must protect yourself at all times. OH Davies has so much potential but today he literaly quit.
I just got the feeling that he was not motivated and more importantly did not prepare for this fight as well as he should have.
take nothing away from josh taylor. he may come across as some sort of thug/bully - he is a fantastic and ruthless fighter.
Life is funny sometimes....
I remember as a kid in Primary school, hearing of Tunde Ajayi's tough guy reputation on the street,..he was 10.
I met him a few years later, i was about 13/14 yr old.
Wants to show me how his boxing lessons are going, he gives me one punch to the stomach, Damn!!...
I remembered that punch for years!!
Great to see where he is today....
