Tu Meke, yeah there is that. I do think Wenger had to go, but I didn’t expect it to get this bad for you. And it’s a difficult rut to get out of. I think some people get fooled into thinking it has to go to shiiiiiit to start again, and Liverpool are often cited. But I think they are a special case, and not something that other clubs can easily replicate.

You said to me the other day being midtable will be short lived, seems a bit extreme to go from that to being the next Villa.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

In reality, I do think our time in mid table would be short-lived. But that wasme assuming Arteta, Edu and co. have the slightest hint of a clue of what they're doing.

His subs and game management today is yet another game where I am seriously questioning his decisions in a game we needed to win. For confidence and spirit if nothing else.

If this club end up making worse decisions than I think, which wouldn't surprise me, then yeah, we could be the next Villa.

Fair enough. I don’t think there’s even the remotest chance of that happening, to be honest. Arsenal are far too big, and rich, a club to ever end up like Villa have.

depor losing again

looks like after their mid season revival, they've lost the plot again

segunda b beckons
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They've pulled it back to 2-2 and missed a pen with 5 mins on the clock to make it 3-2.

Still, a draw against Rayo wouldn't be the worst result in the world, and it's still very tight in the bottom half. Just 5 points, as it stands, between 12th and 20th.

Yeah, there's no real excuses for our current predicament. Terrible recruitment is our No.1 issue. The money is there, has been for 5/6 years now. Its just been distributed horribly. Not just transfer fees, but wages aswell

Drama at Riazor!

8 minutes after the initial VAR review, the penalty gets retaken, Depor make it 3-2 with a minute left on the clock, and then Rayo get awarded a pen at the other end 2 minutes into stoppage time.

The likes of wolves/Leicester are comfortably better than us now. If we're not careful, Everton and maybe Newcastle if their sale goes through could be better than us too. Even Sheffield fecking utd

Yup, Mario Suarez converts the penalty for Rayo. 6 minutes into stoppage time now. The Depor penalty alone should add about 8 or 9 minutes.

TRS, yeah they do. The fact we aren’t doing a great deal better should really put things into perspective for our fans, and the people at the club, though.

Yeah but you know you mustn't say anything about it Darren because everything's grate.

Canales meantime missed a late peno for Betis, Athletic clinging on to their 1-0 lead 8 minutes into injury time.

Yeah, if you ever want to know how not to run a football club just follow United and Arsenal’s lead.

Among, and the, biggest spenders in the league. Rubbing shoulders with Wolves and Sheffield United.

I enjoy reading the stuff some people come out with. It’s genuinely mental. Then it makes me sad because I realise our fans sound like Liverpool fans when we they were shiiiiit.
