i won't notice him being gone.

Not sure why we even signed him in the first place. Doubt he was scouted because he looked clumsy and out of his depth from his first game.

Unfortuate player, but seems like a nice guy, so wish him well in League One or the SPL or wherever he ends up.

those skin type kappa did nothing for him

Linked with Kilmarnock.

Why are we signing average, unproven players like Alioski and Saiz and letting a player with massive potential go?

posted on 28/7/17

Just a ridiculous signing and a waste of 300k.

Majority of SPL clubs could not cut it in the championship its that bad up there so why we felt a man who was not prolific in Scotland to be good enough for us is anyone's guess.

8 goals in 34 games in league tells you its own story. Could not always get in the Oldham side.

Looked absolutely out of his depth in a Leeds shirt and go back to my recent comment about being able to see a good player in 10 minutes. Erwin wouldnt even have needed 10 minutes with me. I would have shipped him out after his first game after a basic assessment of his agility. Not good enough for this level and not something you can make better.

I always had realistic hopes for the lad, but he was never even going to be a squad player. Tavares on the other hand like Del Fabro will show his worth soon enough.

That's a lazy comment chief.

I would suggest at least 7 of the 12 clubs in the Scottish Premiership (the SPL no longer exists) would be comfortable in the Championship, and would thrive if they were given access to the revenue streams that you have.

And for what it's worth, I never particularly rated him while he was up here. He had a couple of good games and that's about it.

Ivan
The only teams with money in the Championship are those with the parachute payments.
The rest of us have to make do with gate receipts and merchandise and pray that we can attract rich owners.
It’s even more imbalanced than the Scottish Premiership and becoming harder and harder to compete with the relegated teams, who are absurdly highly rewarded for failure.

Earl, totally appreciate that and I know how hard it is for most teams in that league due to the parachute payments.

But you still have a tv deal worth £90m per season. The deal for the SPFL is around a third of that.

how do you get a good TV deal?

Yeah but you have half the amount of teams in your leagues.

So while we get more it's stretched out far thinner

£90m Spread over 24 teams is nothing exceptional and nothing compared to Sunderlands £100m relegation bonus..

Probably one of the most invisible players
we've ever had. Glad he's gone.

Good luck to him, sure he was carp for us and didn't look up to it but glad he's hopefully found somewhere he gets a fresh start.

I'm not even sure what this really means? He was a young striker who played a handful of games. If by invisible you mean forgettable, then we have had a lot worse than him, in the last few seasos alone.

He never fitted in, he should stayed at Motherwell with hindsight.
Will be interesting to see how he does at Killie after his stint south of the border.

2 of his potentially most productive years sat rotting sitting on his hands.

Could have spent that time being a first team regular at Motherwell, wasted time all round really

Hold on!!

Is Telford after Irwin and Wood now!?!?!?
