Yeah that's true. Must have got wind of Bayern being interested and thought fack them.

Makes me less worried about Can potentially leaving next summer now. Keita will fill the box to box role perfectly, great signing.

I agree Keita is a no 8, first and last. He will enable coutinho to go next summer but.... lemarbis hopefully for now and has played a cm type role in France BUT then gives us cover and competition.

I hope we do swap lemar for origi plus cash btw... we have too many no 9 strikers and not enough wide men.

I believe so, he's undergone a medical and we have the agreement with RB. If there's anything left to sort I'd guess it's just personal terms.

A wise move for Liverpool to get ahead of their rivals for next season alone and have definitely found a good player in Keita. Moulded perfectly for Liverpool's midfield.

If Klopp can potentially bring in a CB before the window closes, then it will have been a good summer for Liverpool.

I think this deal comes in the wake of Coutinho saying that he will stay at Liverpool for one more season as long they sell him to Barca next season.

People always say we don't do our deals early enough
