Firms..Main reason for my optimism is i think this season we will beat a lot of the teams outside top 6 that last season we failed against.

Thats because our squad is better and i am sure Klopp will have learned a lot from his first full season.

6 clean sheets in 7 prem games...but nothing has changed...2 clean sheets in 3 this season but nothing has changed.

Agree and as i said elsewhere... our problems started lsst season when we lost attacking players. Mane couts sturridge etc. It wasnt our defence that ultimately made us have a bad Jan

Why do Liverpool fans conveniently keep picking the last few games of last season to convince everyone their defence isn't an issue?

Arsenal had 5 clean sheets in their last 7 last season but still have a poor defence.

Yeah which shows that the small run they went on where they didn't concede much was just that. Similar thing will happen with Liverpool.

Ours has been 6 in 7. Bit of a difference. Obviously we will concede goals again, but it just shows that we can keep a run of clean sheets and it's not as terrible as people seem to think.
