With regards left back. Possibly Shaw for really defensive games, and Robertson for all else seeing he's a much better attacker, and can deliver a decent cross.
Wish we'd bought Robertson, that's exactly how I'd use the left back position had we bought him.

We actually missed a trick not getting Kolasinac on free. Mendy is the one signing another PL club made this summer that I'm jealous of.

Mendy is class, way, way better than Shaw or Robertson. Kokasinac fir feee would have been great, Robertson at 8m was a snip too. Mendy, well that was a costly signing.

Surprised so many would want Matip in their team. Massively overrated defender. Because he's not as poor as Lovren people act like he's really good but I'm not seeing it.

They're better than Matip, though. Bailly hasn't even been our best cb under Mourinho, Jones and Rojo have.
Mane and Coutinho are the only ones. Lallana would see a lot of game time coming on as a sub. Firminho would also make the bench. I can imagine Mou loving Henderson as all managers do though.

No he's just not the really good defender Liverpool fans make out. Not saying he's bad or anything. He escapes so much criticism though because Lovren is a clown, despite not exactly covering himself in glory when your defence is all over the place.
