Yeah but Lukaku has usually disappeared against the better sides since he's been in the prem, I wouldn't say that of Kane. He's scored against all the top sides. Not had the chance to do that in the CL yet.

No Everton usually disappear in big games. Lukaku relies on service and if the players behind him are rubbish then there's not a lot whole he can do.

He couldn't do it at a top club

2 things to remember mate:

- Spurs are a top team, the table doesn't lie
- Harry Kane has as many hat-tricks in 2017 (6) as Messi (2), Ronaldo (2) and Lewandoski (2) combined.

Whats to argue about? Really.

Lukaku disappearing in big games has been a common theme since he's been in the prem, I don't know why you're denying it.

Of course rhe team he's in has an influence, but he's also shown himself capable of making an impact of his own accord.

I saw Jonny Evans have him in his pocket once and that was when Evans was shiiiiiit and was getting hullied by midget strikers let alone a beast like Lukaku.

Hopefully this changes at United. Not just in terms of goals but his general performances, he needs to dominate big games more often.

Kane does this, helps playing for Spurs of course.

The things that people have to come up with to criticise him for are getting narrower and narrower. In a year's time it will be that he can't do it against teams at a certain altitude.

But Lukaku has done it in big games where Everton have bothered to show up. Not all the time but he has done it and yes he probably does need to prove he can do it more often.

Yeah that's my point. The reasons for him not doing another point, we can only base his ability against the top sides on what he has done.

If that changes in a better team then great. But I stand by the statement, especially the point about him dominating games. That's something he actually needs to do more regularly anyway as he's capable but despite his goals has a lot of inconsistent performances.

He's got age on his side, so hopefully this will come as well as him maintaining, or improving, his goal scoring record.

If he does we'll have a hell of a striker on our hands. Hopefully that is the case in the coming years.

There seems to be a massive influx of player's bordering 1 a game in the modern era not just Messi and Ron.. Kane, Auba, Suarez, Aguero etc at this rate Lukaku and Morata might follow suit.

None of those above bar maybe Aguero is on the level of Henry, Fat Ronaldo so it must be the defending.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Suarez and Lewa are too. Kane, Lukaku and Morata are all young.

Lukaku has scored against all the big sides too while at much chittier teams than Spurs.

IMO cant compare a lot of these strikers with Henry.

Henry would make his own goals from deep a lot of times people like Kane are more or less out and out strikers, either shoot or pass to someone else in a better position up and inside the box.

Henry would also contribute a lot more than goals in games IMO.

Who's going to tell the great defence that Kane hasn't scored against?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He's never scored against us other than one against our b team. Saw him being anonymous against Chelsea last season when Luiz and Azpi were at it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

He took Chelsea apart when Jose was there in 2015, he scored against them when Hiddink was in charge and again vs them in the semi final last season

So what if it was your 'B team', that's your own fault for parking the bus in various games unlike the other big clubs and falling away from the pack

Best English striker in years, If we had a decent team around him England could go places.

Unfortunately we have a mediocre squad and yet another poor manager.

Kane seems to be a top striker atm the thing is can Spurs hold onto him if one of the big boys come in for him?
