I like the confidence and I hope you're right

I'm not personally half as confident and being brutally honest I think we will lose 2-0. I do think if we go fit them we can have some joy. Our attacking players should be tearing their poor defence apart

To be fair to our defence, they strangely seem to play better against the better sides. City game aside, we don't concede many goals against the other top 6 teams.

just get 2/3 shots on target and you'll win (maybe draw if we actually score some of our shots)

Makes sense to sit back early on and wait for Liverpool to tire, after inevitably running around like men possessed in the first 20 minutes. At some point a gap the size of the Channel Tunnel will appear between the centre backs and then it will just require an accurate through ball

Fixed it for you according to Mr. Better.

I'm still a bit surprised that we'd not play a forward given he said we have 12 players.

United will set up with 5 at the back, wingers as wings backs making it a 7 and 3 DM's with a CF and the referee making up the 12th man behind the ball. 0-0.

I thought the 'Back 9' was a golfing expression until I saw United at the Etihad last season.

Like Fellaini, Jesse is a big-game player. Regardless of recent years standing, Liverpool is always a very big game for me, always will be. I like Lingard's abilities in this match, and he may just find the damned net for a change!

You could play Lingard in front of a back 8.
