Bale being out is not a disadvantage for Real - he's injured most of the time anyways, and when he aint he only lasts 30 minutes. Sure he might score a goal in that time, but so what?
We're likely to lose 3-0 at a minimum anyways.
Group H will come down to goal difference - for 2nd.
Dortmund lost 1-3 at home.
So ..... if we lose 2-1 away we may be in with a chance. even 3-1 would not be bad.
That analysis given, Pochettno might well park the bus towards the final 15 mins.

Glass half empty sort of bloke Ted? No one expects this to be a walk in the park so the pressure is not on us and so long as every player gives 100% we can't complain.

Think you'll do well.4-0 mardid should reflect the gap between the teams.

Well said mate. Ted is just the sort of supporter that really gets to me. Sure Spurs may well lose, but don`t say they are going to get stuffed 3-0 minimum before a ball has been kicked. Apoel only lost 3-0 and Spurs are a far superior side to them, so why not think positive, although Ted only ever does negative. As you say, this game all the pressure is on Real, and they haven`t been in scintillating form, so who knows. Their defence is very dodgy, so Spurs should get some joy there, just if our defence can organise themselves to keep Madrid out. Spurs Achilles heel at the back seem to be balls put in the box in the air, but Real don`t play that way, it is all on the floor, so they should cope OK.

I doubt Ted is even a spurs fan and tbh going by his posts I doubt he even knows what football is

Play like we did against Dortmund by soaking up pressure then breaking quickly on them we have a real chance.

Don’t worry about it, Madrid is a very tricky word to spell. The point is, you gave it your best shot, and you should be very proud of yourself.

Hoping for an exiting game,we've been in great form away from home but Real at home given their CL experience will probably be too much for us.

As long as no caaaant does a "Crouch" for us

I’m confident and think we will do better than people expect.

Real Madrid haven’t appeared to be overly impressive this season, and they haven’t gelled as a team yet, just won on individual performances mostly.

Spurs have got to be favourites. Real Madrid only look good because they play in a weak league. Playing in Europe is a whole nother kettle of fish. Spurs have proven that they can do it in Europe when they smashed Inter 3-4 at the San Siro in arguably one of the best results for an English club in Europe for over a century.

Whilst I’d love to see us get a result I can’t see anything other than a spanking .

The problem we’re going to have is keeping CR7 quiet and stopping Isco making them late runs into the box.

None of our 3 CB are blessed with pace , and Madrid will exploite this massively. It will be a vital learning experience to our young team .

4-1to Madrid

Ronald,s pace is unbelievable it’s on another level, but hey hopefully he chips a nail while painting them and refuses to play.

Ronaldos pace isn’t no where near what it used to be
