And despite the police investigating / prosecuting countless other lock down breaches, the MET have tonight said they won't be investigating the aforementioned (alleged) breaches as there is a "lack of evidence."

Normally the police chose not to prosecute if there isn't sufficient evidence to support a conviction. But not to even bother investigating (given ITV footage and countless witness testimonials etc) is hardly a reason not to investigate. Or even consider the available evidence.

Any wonder why Tory MPs said yesterday the police wouldn't be investigating as it was over twelve months ago...
