Conservatives who still want Johnson as leader of this country are no patriots. They betray this country by supporting throwing the standards this great country expects from its Prime Minister into the rubbish bin.
As for the "not now, the war gibberish" Churchill replaced Chamberlain so that's a crock of cabbage water.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Whether Boris leads the Tories into the next GE will depend on if his mp's believe they can retain their seats under his stewardship. The Red Wall Tory mp's are very different to the shires Tory lot and have waited years to get in, they won't fack about if they think their hard earned seats are going back to Labour.
Most folk vote in accordance with their own situation and for that reason the cost of living crisis and the effect it will have on families disposable income is the Tories biggest problem.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The tory vote in the Home counties is down, the pandemic induced youthful fleeing from London into these shires will not increase it, quite the opposite.

People who argue, “Yeah, it’d mean this or that for my party/the party I hate,” or, “It’d swing the balance of power in this/that direction,” are completely missing the point.
That shouldn’t be in anyone’s mind. What *should* be in people’s minds is democratic facking representation.
I absolutely abhor the far right. I’d fight them with hammers and spanners to my death. But if the British people want such people to represent them in Parliament, that should be their right.

Germans just announced they’re gonna ration their gas, looks like the Russians are gonna turn their taps off soon

Good. Maybe it’ll force Germany to pull the splinters out of their rses from fence sitting.

Caroline Lucas has repeatedly proposed a vote on PR in the houses of parliament.

It's easy to vote for something if you think it's going to lose and that way you can take the moral high ground.
I don't believe that Blackford/Sturgeon would want to significantly reduce their Westninster voices under any circumstances.
More mp's = more indyref2 pressure.

Only the party that wins the GE has to keep manifesto promises. Actually come to think of it no they don't, Haha.
Call me a cynical old turkey but nothing will convince me that the SNP would like to have alot less seats at Westminster and although I don't generally get much support on this forum I think on this occasion most on here would agree.

I don't know about that?
They'll struggle to find jobs that pay over 80k a year with monster expenses based in the middle of the metropolis.
Careful what you wish for.

I am 100% certain that members of the Scottish National party would like it if Scotland were independent, and thus not sending MPs to Westminster.

I'm sure all SNP mp's start off with the best of intentions regarding an independent Scotland but once they get comfortable in the centre of London on a good salary and with all the attractions the city has to offer I wonder if maybe indyref2 doesn't seem so important anymore.
