Azhar Ali is understood to be suspended from the Labour party pending investigation.

A Labour party spokesperson said:

“Following new information about further comments made by Azhar Ali coming to light today, the Labour party has withdrawn its support for Azhar Ali as our candidate in the Rochdale by-election.

“Keir Starmer has changed Labour so that it is unrecognisible from the party of 2019.

What a load of bullsheet. If someone is here legally then they cannot be deported even if they commit a crime. If someone is here illegally or does not have status one way or another, then they are liable to be deported if they commit a crime.
