I actually think Starmer has handled Trump better than most world leaders. He basically remains non-committal without annoying him, whilst building stronger relations with other allies.

It really is incredible how much power Israel have over the US and all others. How have they managed that in the space of a few decades? Why are so many powerful people so scared to criticise them and their reach?

I have always assumed Israel gets backed because a huge amount of wealth and backing at election time comes from Jewish money, both in the US and the UK.

Netanyahu has been saying Iran is close to a nuclear weapon for nigh on 33 years. I have no idea whether they are close to getting one as of today but do know that his actions is purely to keep him in power to avoid jail. Is it a coincidence? Maybe, maybe not.

The IAEA has been monitoring and documenting Iran's capabilities since the 1990s, hence how the tracker can be compiled. I have no expertise in speculating why Trump ripped up the JCPOA in 2018 that was jointly agreed by Russia, China, France, the US, and UK (although he does have a tendency to dismantle everything Obama's done), and left a gaping hole with no plans to provide an alternative solution.

Unfortunately, the IAEA has not been allowed to monitor Iran's program since 2021. However, China, Russia, and even the US' own intelligence community have said that they do not believe that Iran are close to having a nuclear weapon. Only Trump and Netanyahu. Several weeks ago, Tulsi Gabbard posted a seemingly weird video talking about WW3. Now in these sober times, her message then now makes sense.

Trump Season 1 did nothing, built nothing, destroyed everything.
Trump Season 2 looks like do nothing, create nothing, burn everything.

Quite how the rest of the world allows Israel to have access to nuclear capabilities themselves is beyond belief. Their Samson Option is quite literally bonkers.

Its interesting that the Saudi and gulf states have not criticised the attack. Which suggests they could increase oil production if necessary. Saudi's have always seen Iran as a threat to them.

I am in the Obama camp that attacking is pointless when the knowledge of how to develop one exists in Iran and its common knowledge that they already have enough for bombs which they have removed from the sites. But there is a rational for the attack. And you have to accept what the reality is at the moment.
