Most of the England youth teams are full of players who have double barralled names. This may be because they are coloured gentlemen. Maitland-Niles, Borthwick-Jackson etc. Are coloured gentlemen allowed to be posh?

Pretty sure in Spanish names it's standard to have fathers name followed by mothers. So Jose Vicente Alvarez Costa but being known as Jose Alvarez.

Also, how are certain footballers allowed nicknames on the back of their shirts?
Chicharito etc
Even Dele Alli has taken to using Dele as he doesn't like his dad or some reason like that
Is Rooney allowed to use Wazza, or Wayne if he has a family dispute?
There should be some kind of rule on this

Ruben is a cant's name in Scotland. Tarquin not sure.

Torquil (Torcull) and Farquhar (Fearchar) are very old Highland names, so OK by me.

And if you've called yer wean McKenzie, it might sound like a good old Highland name, but it just shows yer a total cant. You saw on a T-shirt FFS.

Eck, haven't read the comments, but over here the gov. decided years ago that women weren't allowed to take their husband's name after marriage.
The result is every cant under 30 is running about with these kinds of names.
