I know he has been injured but Kante has been worse this season than Fernandinho.

Spurs fans tend to like to look at short periods, last two seasons, this season. Doesn’t matter what Fernandinho has done in 11 games Kante is still miles better than him. Even the city fans concur

True been impressed with Fernandhino this season. Didn't think he was gonna make that step up. Last season he was terrible though, complaining a lot, whining like a little pratt, and was sent off numerous times.

I think he's a bit of a late bloomer. He's a weird one because usually intelligent players like him are quite consistent eg. He was also excellent in 13/14 next to Yaya

Have to say I am amazed how little competition we had for Kante last year, we couldn't even offer European football, both Manchester clubs as well as Arsenal and Spurs could have made more attractive offers to him and that's not even counting other European clubs. Apparently Mourinho blamed the lacklustre title fight from United last season on the failure to sign Kante

He is brilliant. A DM that can make a real difference. He appears to cover to positions at once.

Arsenal tried to sign him and probably could have match the reported £110,000 a week he earns at Chelsea. But he chose Chelsea over Arsenal and other clubs. It wasn't all about money I think.
