They couldn't handle our pressing in the first half. We eased off them in the second and surely that was tactical? Poor decision if so but perhaps Klopp was thinking about the Chelsea game.

Is KIopp worrying that the fitness levels drop and the players tire with too much pressing?

The trouble is we are not great at sitting back and closing a game out. That is an area we can improve.

If you going to ease off though why not take off one of mane or salah and strengthen the MF or defence when 3-0 up?


Someone said earlier that would e nice to rest players in next game. But 3-0 up you need to rest likes of mane and salah with Chelsea coming up

I think the idea was to ease off them with the pressing but still maintain a threat on the counter.

I would imagine the fact he wanted to leave played a big part in the decision.....

For me Hendo has his good games but in this games you need a Xabi Alonso type of player.

Can would have been preferred to Lucas anyhow. I don't think you can put too much blame on the midfield when they score from a free-kick, a dive for a penalty and a corner.

Don't get why we gave Benega the freedom of the field.

It's happened so many time we had lost big lead. I think it's to due with our midfield not keeping possession and not killing off the game. Henderson can't lead and organise the team. We need Alonso type of player. Hendo had a good game against Southampton but we looked comfortable in that game. Southampton didn't even have a single shot on goal. But when we play against tough teams Henderson struggles.

That one when Can was through and had to square it to Mane was frustrating. Benega who was excellent in the second half got the block on it. He couldn't do anything I the first half as we pressed them at every opportunity. We then sat off them in the second and they pressed us with our midfielders then unable to do anything.

Look on the bright side, maybe we will buy someone in January

In this type of game Firmino was exactly what we needed and he proved that. However I do agree in certain other games we need an out and out striker.

I think milner is an excellent fullback. Properly good.
