Yeah the new Train Spotting and Alien I missed out. Both of which make the list.
Snatch is my favourite film.
Enjoyed "Get Out" and "Logan". Will watch "IT" this weekend. Hope it's worth the hype. Lots of hyped movies disappoint me. I heard some incredible things about Wonder Woman, but found it mediocre: comically cringey in some places.
Chronicles of Narnia first film and Gladiator are two amazing films.

That's because it's a super hero film. 99% are crap.

99% of Super-hero movies don't have 92% positive reviews on Rotten Tomatoes in addition to grossing over a billion. Some critics compared its impact and technical quality in the genre to "The Dark Knight" which was a laughable claim. It wasn't even half as good as "Logan" this year.
Also saw Silence.
Undoubtedly a great looking piece of art. However, the fact I'd completely forgotten about having seen it probably says it all as to where it stands in Scorsese's oeuvre, in my opinion.
It's going to be The Last Jedi for me, sight-unseen. I took my son to see Episode 1 when he was 4. We've seen every Star Wars or related film since together, and now he's moved out so I haven't seen him for a while. We're going together to watch the film during the holidays, and it'll be wonderful. I miss the lad just a bit. I've turned into one of those Star Wars geeks I used to get a laugh from, but seeing Luke at the end of Episode 7 sent chills. The other films I enjoyed will all pale in comparison.

It's going to be The Last Jedi for me, sight-unseen. I took my son to see Episode 1 when he was 4. We've seen every Star Wars or related film since together, and now he's moved out so I haven't seen him for a while. We're going together to watch the film during the holidays, and it'll be wonderful. I miss the lad just a bit. I've turned into one of those Star Wars geeks I used to get a laugh from, but seeing Luke at the end of Episode 7 sent chills. The other films I enjoyed will all pale in comparison.
