Usually i would but even i can't blame Lovren for that, refs in this league are a joke. Wouldn't even be confident them getting it right with VAR in this country.

Said this on the match thread, Lovren’s not the worst CB we’ve ever had, not even close.
I do struggle to recall a CB who makes as many stupid decisions and errors as he does. Today he was very good for all but 2 seconds when he stupidly put his hands on the strikers back.
And that’s Lovren. Stupidity almost guaranteed. I just don’t think he has the intelligence to be a top CB which is a great shame because he’s very good for extended periods and sporadically horrific.

If they do I'll be annoyed that our player gave the refere a decision to make.
Like I said in the match thread, it's soft, it wouldn't put anyone on the floor, but why give the ref a decision to make?

Klopp also very complacent today and it should have been 3 easy points but he basically started taking the pi$$$ and the equaliser was inevitable
putting your hands on opposition doesnt mean its a foul. pully and pushing is but the guy just backed into lovren and went down yes he arms were on him but there was no push, certainly one strong enough to send him sprawling like he did.

This is true. For a centre back who is slightly behind the forward I would recommend practically anywhere other than on the back of the forward.
It was a ludicrously soft penalty but Neville is right Lovren gave the forward an opportunity to win the penalty and gave the ref a decision to make. It’s brainless.

Dive or not, penalty or not, it's the same old Liverpool.
EVERY time the teams around us screw up, we fail to capitalise.
That's why I'm not surprised at today's result.
The replay I saw he clearly had two hands on him and they moved into his back.
Like I say it wouldn't have put someone on the floor, but it's naieve defending imo
