It seems to me that some people cannot accept criticism of Wolves, constructive or otherwise.
Wolves has done well this season to be top of the league and I'm ecstatic about that, but they are not the finished article and have not played well on occasions. When they play to their potential, they are sensational, however they don't play to that potential that often. As (I think it's Spangles) says, they tend to sit back more often than not, allowing the opposition to play in front of them and then hit them on the break. That seems now to be the norm rather than the fast-passing, free-flowing football that we've seen on a few occasions. Whether this "style" has anything to do with the games which come thick and fast or the heavier pitches, I'm not sure, but this style isn't as pleasant on the eye as previously.

Fans on here and other sites need to realise that there is a great difference between having a go at Wolves per se and criticising things that are not being done well. Personally, I want Wolves to win matches BUT, I also want them to play consistently well. The defence is doing that but the midfield and attack has stuttered in recent weeks. That is not criticism for criticism sake, but mine (and plenty of others) observations. lf that upsets some of the lily-livers on here, I care not a jot.

If we all had the same opinions that Wolves am great aye they and ignored the obvious imperfections, not only would this be a boring world, but Wolves would also become a poorer side. Luckily, the manager can see that we have to strive for continuous improvement, even if some fans cannot get their heads around it.

Sako scores with aplomb.

It was a shot, not an aplomb. Vardy is aplomb.

Wolves play a continental style of football where it is about playing hard in stages rather than trying to put teams to the sword for 90 minutes and running about like tawts

Surprises me that some don't understand that yet, it's a marathon not a Sprint so maintaining control without killing yourself is pretty important.

Yes we have played poorer in a few games, last night the poorest I have seen this season but overall we have been in control for far more games than we have not and if you look at recent games we have restricted the opposition to about two or three shots on target which is impressive.

Good to see Sako doing better now. That move to Palace hasn’t been a good one mainly because it seems the manager of the day, Pardew, didn’t want him which is always a recipe for a bad experience. If he never gets established at Palace then he’s putting himself in the shop window to attract other clubs at least

Three great goals for Palace, and the confidence in the side now is almost tangible. There's a rapport between Benteke, Zaha, Sako, and Loftus-Cheek, which was quite apparent at the final whistle, during the celebrations.

Palace looked a decent side a couple of years ago so not sure what went wrong really.

Perhaps just highlights the level playing field between 7th and 20th in the prem, any of them can have a spell and look good.

Willy Boly returned from injury 8 games ago now. In those games Wolves have won 7 drawn 1 and conceded only 2

Boly is a star

Worth noting that Ryan Bennett came into the team at the same time at the start of those eight games though.
