not sure why our lot are bothering to carry on this "debate"

albion currently are above us that's the salient fact, let em have their fun, as it's their privilege..If and when we overtake them, then's the time to properly rip the pissh, as of now we've achieved feck all, other than setting ourselves up for a fall

There is no reason at all, if Man City can do it so can we...

Years and years....I've waited a life time a bit longer won't hurt! .....

Teams care little for the FA cup much these days, but to say last night shows the gulf in class between the Prem and Championship because our 2nd string lost just strange, it proves Swanseas 2nd lot beat our 2nd lot which in the grand scheme of things means nothing, if it does then what did the Man City game mean?

It's about the big picture, Rome wasn't built in a day and Manight City won nothing for 4-5 years, but look at them now!
They started from scratch which is what were doing, yes fans of other teams can laugh and say we won't do nothing but why can't we? We have the money we have Mendes and because of that we now have the pulling power....we are signing players from Porto, Athletico Madrid, Barcelona etc most Prem teams couldn't attract these players and we're doing in the Championship!

So in 3-5 years tell me, why can't we become a genuine force?

So why do your lot keep bringing up your results against Premier League teams in 2017? All this results were against weakened teams.

Leicester became a force without big money so, likewise, why can't Albion become a genuine Force?

If you'd come into this money 10, 15, 20 years ago i'd say you were nailed on to win the Premier League but things have changed.

Man United turned over £581.2m last year but they're still struggling to win anything.

Money is no guarantee of success!!!

It's also worth pointing out that over the last 30 years Wolves have consistently had better financial backing than Albion but where has it got you? How many of those seasons have you finished above us?

posted on 18/1/18

Maybe not win the Prem but top 6 maybe, and maybe a cup?

Money is definitely not a guarantee of success agreed (look at Villa) but put nearly unlimited funds (ways around ffp) And Mendes getting players in we have a better chance than say your Watfords, Swanseas, Stokes.

I'm not saying it guaranteed at all buuuuut it puts us in a bloody good position to do something.

As for us having more money and you finishing above us.......we never had this much money 😉

Either way here's to a BCD next season where you can no doubt beat us again. ......even though we'll be 30 points clear Man City at the top of the Prem.......

So...

IF you get promoted.
IF you have unlimited funds.
IF you can attract players that otherwise might go to City, United, Liverpool, Chelsea, Spurs or Arsenal.

You...

MIGHT win a cup.
MIGHT finish in the top 6.
MIGHT become a 'genuine force'.

Lots of 'ifs' and 'mights'.

And Albion fans are supposed to be worried?

.................................................................................
12 point clear of 3rd in Jan so we should go up.

We have unlimited funds.

And we will attract these players.....Liverpool and Man U fans still go on about us signing Neves.

So........as I say given we have unlimited funds and Mendes....you know......what I've been saying all morning...there is no reason we can't.

Wolves have a track record of fooking up

You don't have unlimited funds

If you think that Neves is proof that you can compete with the likes of Liverpool and United then you're in for a rude awakening! I'd never heard of him until you guys brought him up and I looked him up on Wikipedia.

Whilst you're signing unproven kids, United and buying the likes of Pogba and Sanchez. Different class mate!

Wolves net transfer spend last summer was £15 million.

Unlimited funds

In football terms we have unlimited funds as Jeff has already said...

Lol I know you had to look him up so did I guess we're not down with the football kids....as one Man U fan tweeted last week. ...Not only do we have to deal with Man City and Chelsea next season we will have to deal with Wolverhampton fxxking Wanderers, how did they sign Neves?
I know it's not Pogba or Sanchez but were signing these players in the Championship now there was rumours we bid 35m for that Milan player. ...if we can do that in the Championship what will we do in the Prem? That's why I say 3-5 seasons time!

Our name is out there now, we'll pay the wages now, we'll pay the transfer fees now and we have the connections to do so......but it will take 3-5 seasons hence why I would be happy with 17th next season.

Plus there's a cheese festival coming to Wolvo soon fxxkin Ronaldo and Messi will sign for that 😂

That wouldn't even cover Sanchez's wages!

Different league in every sense!!!

Thought as much. City fans claim they have 'unlimited' funds but they can't even afford Sanchez. United can because they've got the biggest turnover which means they won't break the FFP rules.

Good luck competing with them next season (if you come up).
