you cannot blame a player for wanting to leave a club with no ambition.

Who is blaming him for wanting out? No-one as far as I can see.

Why are Arsenal fans getting upset like Garwood then?

They are upset with the club, not with the player.

How do you not see the difference?

haha selling to manchester utd, we are indeed a farce!

I'm sure in your 53 yrs of supporting Arsenal, you've seen us worse than playing in a 60,000 seat stadium, being 6th in the league, and current record fa cup holders.

a lot empty seats though

Yes indeed I have. However we built this 60,000 seater stadium to compete with the top teams and bring the best players in the world to Arsenal. Not sell them.

Dude times have changed in 53 years. Not like you can go over Highbury pay a couple of quid to get in and get absorbed in the atmosphere win or lose. Its all about money now for everbody, so you pay top dollar you expect top dollar and Arsenal FC are certainly NOT delivering on that after the promise they would.

I understand that Garwood & Jonas
All I'm saying is a bit of perspective is needed, it's not as bad as you are saying, we're not doing well right now but to call the club a joke from top to bottom is a bit extreme imo.

We may not be midtable but we soon will be with the way things are going, I mean look at the team today. We are a joke, highest tickets in the land yet we have an average team who no top player wants to play for anymore.

What with Ozil and Sanchez and the introduction of Lacazette plus a holding midfielder and centre back we could compete with any team for top prizes. Now that has gone.We will never replace Sanchez and I wont be surprised if Ozil also goes.

4 1/2 years ago, we were told RvP was sold because the club was still in financial trouble, and ended up giving utd the ammunition to get them the title.

This time around? Why sell to utd, the top 4 rivals and Mourinho rather than City who are at least well ahead of everyone else?

This club is a laughing stock. No one sells to rivals so regularly and not just any players, but your best.

In my 40 years as an Arsenal supporter I have NEVER felt that we were underperforming from where we should be as much as I do now.

Completely agree with this. It's not even necessarily the standard of football, it's just the complete lack of effort and spending by the board, and a policy of buying players who are not what we need and won't help us compete.
