I believe footballers/Managers/Referees should not be able to gamble on football at all.

What’s up with betting on horse racing or the greyhounds if your a footballer and betting on football and rugby if your a hockey, are they that thick?

I don't see any conflict between football taking sponsorship money from gambling companies and banning players from gambling. The two things are unrelated.

Like most addicts, black is looking for someone else to blame.

Look....when Celtic and Rangers were sponsored by Carling, did anyone think that was encouraging the players to drink Carling?

Of course not.

They continued drinking peroni and suchlike same as any sane person.

Here here Magnum, it’s more to do with genetics and choice.

Thats a great point its pretty hard go get anyone to drink Carling.

I mind being in a popular bar and they offered a free pint if Scotland won the match, amazingly Scotland won and we wandered to the bar for our free pint and were offered a choice of Carling or eff all.

Pretty much everyone chose eff all

but having a drink ain’t gonnae change the outcome of a game, unless yer George Best

We should turn the game in to a Nanny State

Sadly Curly it would be great to get sponsorship that is not alcohol or gambling companies or loan companies, but it is what it is and people have the choice to say yes or no.

To many people not willing to admit and face there demons head on and blame everything else!!

Life should be enough to give you the buzzes you desire, but it’s not for some and they need those artificial highs!!
