Ipswich nearly won it there. Is the washing machine broken or pre arranged send off goodbye?

at that time its odd making a sub unless you're winning

well we blew the chance of breathing space while the others play next week it could backfire and make playing catchup harder when we return with all our new signings and missing those sold.

What have we got to keep us busy during the break besides all the hot transfer gossip shall we ask Ken to wheel out a financial shock horror story we are missing them these days.

The fan zone joining her with comments after their goal is classic.

Why don't we practice heading the ball into the goals and taking free kicks in those dangerous areas teach them the idea is to clear the wall and score and not try to knock the wall down like tin cans at the funfair.

The only thing you can say is that one point is better than nothing. of course, that won't help come May if we are in the bottom three.

As I have said before I do believe there are three worse teams than us. It just depends now if the others in the mini-league can add better players to their squad than us.

It's points that win prizes we keep dropping them and others pick them up it could be a last game and goal difference nail biter.

We're getting nearer to the end of the transfer window. We need to keep a close eye on Ken and Lee, Will another club come in and take Madine and perhaps another? It wouldn't surprise me if we lost two players.

No panic then as we have a mini holiday now to allow Ken to work out his budgets and for Prof P to figure out how to win convincingly playing flowing football while juggling a few players.
I'll just carry on taking the medication.

Extended warranties on washing machines are sometimes expensive.

posted on 23/1/18

I never pay for extended warranties or breakdown cover saves a fortune Ken would do wise to follow suit and save money rather than waste it on somebody who's ego is bigger than it should be.
He'll only revert to the old style throw a strop missed chance Madine if he gets a penny more I don't get all this rush to fill his pockets with our hard earned.

Panick is the reason. Who else is scoring goals? No one. I think is prudent to keep him at the moment.

With limited cash, who can we attract that would make a difference? When you're down and out, it's better to keep what you have than take a punt on someone who might or might not score for us.

Of course, we could always try one or two of the youngsters, but PP seems to have a blind spot where they're concerned.

There's a queue of agents at Ken's door not buyers all wanting more just like Gazza if only PP would change his ways and move away from his predictable one up top game plans a,b and c we wouldn't be having to hand over more money in wages to one player.
I thought Ken believed money was more important than any one player flog him at the best price and tell PP to shape up or ship out without compo is the way to go.

Hall and King scored today Connor has now scored 15 this season he earns ten bob a week in U23's speak.
The loaning out special bus service is due soon be patient the U23's will be short staffed when the bus departs

6 out and half a dozen in reckon the Beano now most people may presume the out going will be 6 of those you have forgotten are part of the current squad don't take your eye off the playing members of the squad one or two may slip into the 6 through the exit door.
Also beware it was Ken who mentioned a slimmer squad not so long ago don't be expecting half a dozen world beaters arriving especially if we are going to be paying more on the weekly laundry bill sacrifices will have to be made if Ken is to eventually master this trick of balancing books on his head while carrying a tray of ale.

The problem is if Madine is sold PP probably won't play Connor. In my opinion, unless we end up being stuck in the bottom three for a few weeks, he won't sack PP either but if Madine is sold, I think we will go down.

swie you sum up the stubbornness of Phil perfectly in there. He's stuck in his own management world where everything revolves around playing one big man up top.
If we are to progress bring on our own and become a trading club who can sell at a good price and replace them with another home grown product and turn a yearly profit we'll need changes at the top on the playing side. There's a danger being stuck in this stubborn rut of PP's a young player playing proper football through his younger years will soon be ruined and be worthless if forced to forget everything in order to play the Parky way.

Ken's working late tonight he'll have to turn lights off and lock up when he leaves.

posted on 25/1/18

It's alright Ken was only working late trying to get free tickets for Wigan this weekend so he can watch them knobble Burke and Cullen PP's top targets he's waiting on. It's almost as if its written they'll end up crock and cause a last minute panic.

The real danger is if the youngsters don't get a chance, a big club will come in buy them for peanuts and they will reap the benefits. It would be much better to follow your formula and should they be as successful as we hope, at least we could demand a decent price.

Phil's got a new hobby collecting players who don't fit into his system. Bit like stamp collecting I never understood just as I'll never understand Parky's strange squad half of which don't fit into his system.
Will he surprise us and bring in a loan to challenge Madine for his place and provide proper cover for when he has a rest in the sick bay.

That young scally wag Connor Hall just bagged a brace and sent us top of the league he's top of the leagues goal scorers which is no surprise.

posted on 26/1/18

We need him in the team. Why can't PP see that he should be given a chance? You know what they say, if you're good enough, you're old enough.
