Was a fair result. Benitez got his tactics spot on. Poor to watch, at 2-1 i genuinely thought it was 50/50 whether Newcastle could nick a point.

Murphy looked decent too.

I actually thought Newcastle looked more positive today than they looked in the reverse fixture but the stats say otherwise:

Possession - City 81% - Newcastle 19%

Corners - City 18 - Newcastle 0.

Worst stats this season. Hudds had 23% vs City. But tactically it was astute and nearly paid off.

Rafa is quality. The 'FACTS' speech said it all.

Credit to Newcastle for having a good go. That third goal though wtf.

I genuinely think tactically he is a top top manager. He is definitely frustrated at Newcastle with the lack of quality.

Would have like to have kept Chris Hughton a few years ago. He was a man motivator who brought the best out of what he had. Quite different to rafa

He is, record shows it. I think what fecks us all off is when people like Ashley, Venkys etc get hold of our clubs as some marketing device and couldn't give a toss about the things football fans hold dear.

The Newcastle fans did their best to lift their team all game but in the first half it was counterproductive as the team all wanted to stay within 20 yards of them!

Well LQ both are same clubs with money to thank for success. As Man City are rivals of Chelsea,I do not like Man City.

City won the FA Cup before Chelsea were even formed.

Chelsea were a bigger club before Man City but yes I will admit that I am jealous of Man City's spending power and their success on the pitch.I have got no personal problems with Man City as long as Chelsea again at least competing for great players in the transfer market.I spoke the truth and didn't lie about the reason behind my current disdain for Man City.
