Both 10/10,. The scenes in the smoke towards the end of alien and strobe are as tense as it gets in film. Brilliant both of them for different reasons.

Yup. First time I found myself thinking "this movie is too loud and stupid"

Annihilation: 7 / 10

Was expecting a typical, dross Netflix original, but was pleasantly surprised.

Fargo: 8.5 / 10

Really enjoyed it; I thought it was really striking how similar it was to Three Billboards (also McDormand), which only served to detract from the latter and give to this (1996!).

Skyscraper - 2/10

Extinction 6.5/10 (Netflix movie)

Calibre - 7/10

Another good Netflix one. Very different tone from what I’ve come to expect from netflix; set in Scotland with a very well paced story.

What were you expecting from this film out of interest?

Nope, it's too serious and the shark scenes are awful.

I was hoping for a Sharknado type film.

Nah it's decent. 6.5 for me. It's exactly what I expected.

Upgrade, 6 out of ten

Frailty/ 6/10, not as clever as it thinks it is, but not bad.

The First Purge - 5/10
