First day on the job

Also I think it is preposterous to suggest Neville has no qualified experience.
He's been first team coach at United, a caretaker manager for Salford City and an assistant manager at Valencia and a member of the England U21 coaching staff.
Givem it's not considered a particularly prestigeous job, if the FA can find a more experienced coach interested in being the England Womens team manager I'd be extremely surprised x

ffs, no wonder you lot are called the bitters if this is all you can come up with.

its not like he kicked her up the high street like Jon Flannigan.

people often make tongue in cheek jokes like Neville did, im sure all of you have said similar in the past.

as for no experience... who were you expecting them to go for.... Southgate?? Dyche??

fact is you are never gonna get a big name manager to manage the England team.

as for having no experience, what they have appointed is a player who has played and won things at the very highest level, who has Uefa B license and who has been first team coach at Utd and Valencia.

Who’s come up with this? Not us it’s in the public domain and it’s funny because it’s his first day on the job, how is it bitter Dunce.

Tbf if anyone had actually read the comments, rather than come on here and act all offended about people having an issue with it. Would realise that it wasn't really in good taste.

A lot of the people on here outraged by those comments are probably the same people who are outraged by nanny state and absence of the freedom to make jokes anymore

The real issue is Phil is ex United

It really isn't.

The real issue isn’t the faux outrage drummed up by the press “no one thinks he beat his missus up”

It’s more the fact it’s his first day and the ineptitude and comedy of the fa going from one disaster to another.

Plus it’s phil Neville so 😂😂😂

The should give the job to a top female coach 100%.

It would help with young female coaches coming into the game to know there is a path to the highest job in the country.

To give it to Phil Neville (or any ex male player) who didn't apply for it is a slap in the face to the womens game.

Not sure why there are no women considered for the job. Germany's last 4 national team managers have been women and they've been pretty successful. Several ex-German female players also manage other national teams in Europe, like Switzerland and Austria.
