Someone said on another thread that the winners of each group ie A,B,C & D all get a qualifying spot for Euro 2020

Its a new slightly competitive format that is pretty much to replace friendlies.

Each team plays home and away. winners of each league in their respective group all go into a round robin. With the overall winners of each group getting a quali spot in euro 2020

defo better than friendlies. also puts teams in against teams of almost equal stature so shouldnt be any meaningless big teams v wee teams

That's not right.

4 Leagues each containing 4 groups.

Winners of each group go to semi finals of there league then the final. Winners of the final for each league qualify for Europe or if they have already qualified the next best team from that league get the spot.

It will be competitive tho they are all of similar levels certainly better than Faroes v Spain/Germany etc.
