Ghod two points for me:

1. He instructs the working group - the responsibility still lies with him. If I delegate an important task to my team to carry out and they balls it up, my boss still blames me if it goes wrong, and rightly so.

2. While O'Neill arguably used us to strengthen his position with NI, the big issue for me is the length of time that this was allowed to drag on for. It should have been finished weeks ago, not this week. Again, that's poor leadership imo.

no idea regarding McInnes the way that looked to me was the goalposts were moved last minute by one of the parties

and what football knowledge does he posses?

1) He'll shoulder the blame for it no doubt but I wouldn't trust him to make a big football decision would you? I thought his job was to find us sponsers etc?

2) We obviously don't know the full story, NI had playoffs to play etc then there was the discussions on actually getting the chance to talk to him

He's obviously said he wants the job or we wouldn't have persued him

my understanding is he appoints a board of reps from clubs across Scotland and its up to them to choose who we get etc.

MON has pulled a fast one on us he's either

a) bottled it completely
b) used us for more cash

this isn't the SFAs fault for me, theres no way we would've went after his the way we did unless he was giving us encouragement
