I’m determined to remain positive and say we’ll win 2-1 although a high scoring win (unlikely I know) would maybe give us some confidence back.

I think it will be mainly the second team tomorrow as he will be resting the first team for Tuesday. I know it’s a squad game now and all the players are part of that squad but the reality is we still have a first and second team.

I’m looking forward to the game as to me there’s no pressure on the result. It’s a welcome break from fighting for league points.

I wonder if Blue in Barca, or whatever he calls himself, will make an appearance on this thread? Do you remember my little run in with him last season Wetherby? If I remember rightly he wanted to knock my teeth out 😂

I expect Town to win, but nowhere near a thumping. If Birmingham are up for it, push hard in the first twenty minutes and get a goal, it could be very frustrating! Where do you think four goals are going to come from Waltz? Yes, we put four past WBA, but they were garbage. This is an FA cup match, Brum will be up for it. If Wagner persists with the usual tried and failed formation, it will be business as usual, one goal, if we’re lucky.

As much as we have bagged Mounié, he, like Depoitre, gets zero service. Get some quality crosses in to the box for Mounié or Depoitre to head in, they are both very strong in the air. I’ve said this before, occasionally play the long ball. Either high over or to run on to. Depoitre and Mounié have some decent pace.

Will Town do a Wigan, get relegated and win the FA Cup? It’s doable!
