Looks like potentially another to add to the long list of good footballers wasted at Chelsea.
Hopefully that adds more money to his price tag, as we saw with Lukaku someone will be suckered in by his goals without thinking of the bigger picture.

Batshuayi’s impact: Dortmund have scored 8 goals in the 3 games since Michy Batshuayi arrived. Had a role in all of them.
Played the pass before the assist for 2 of them. The assist itself for 1 of them and scored the other 5.

Still don't understand what Conte didn't like about Bats.
He suffers by our playing style, his type of forward does not work for us, clearly he can score goals in the correct set up for him......but what could I know, I’ve only been watching football and particularly Chelsea for 60 years.

Never really understood why Conte didn't want to play him this season. But then again there's quite a few things that I haven't really understood about Conte this season. As good a manager as he undoubtedly is.
He is a goal poacher but usually needs the goal to be put on a platter for him to score.I think he could have done a decent job for Chelsea despite what I have said had Conte played him more.
He's doing just as much as Aubemayang done for them so far goals + assists + involved in pretty much every goal and Aubemayang is rated one of the best strikers in the world

hmm while I agree with you, there were signs he could do it and he was never given a run of games, that's hard enough for anyone.
Yeah it's weird. He was given a sub role and for the majority of the time, he managed to score whilst he had his time on the pitch. Didn't seem like a troublemaker. All around good guy. Really don't understand why he had to go. We've kept players for donkeys years even though they didn't suit our style, whatever our style is. Just a weird weird transfer.

It’s just annoying to me how Bakayoko, Morata, Cahill etc. Can have as many bad games as they want and still be trusted but one bad game for someone like Batshuayi and that’s all the (limited amount of) trust gone for a while. Especially unfair when you consider that it’s harder to play well when you’re not playing regularly.
I think that a year or so in Germany,eating lots of German food, and drinking lots of German beer and schnapps,might be the making of him !

Not really. I’d say being banned would be like being dropped and being allowed back on would be like being given another chance after a long time on the bench/reserves. I’d say such a poster would be more of a Batshuayi than a Cahill.

He was the main man for the whole of pre season and started the CS and Burnley, he was so bad in both that Morata's integration had to be speed up.
Even vs Qarabag and Forest when he scored 5 in those 2 what felt like a record breaking amount of attacks broke down because of him, and as for his performance at Palace.
He got a decent amount of starts in the opening 2 months but blew all of them, stick him 1 on 1 from 6 yards and he'll tuck it away but beyond that were down to ten with him on.
Even vs Qarabag and Forest when he scored 5 in those 2 what felt like a record breaking amount of attacks broke down because of him, and as for his performance at Palace.
haha have to agree with you abut that.
however I would not say 4 starts all season was a decent amount.
