Can’t really have a go at who he’s picked, the pool of talent isn’t exactly large.

Has he named 4 keepers?

Nah, he's named 3 and Joe Hart.

Smalling dropped from the squad again, he’s finally being shown up for the bog standard centre back he actually is. Hope we get rid in the summer.

Jones isn’t in the squad because of his injury, if he’s fit I think he’ll be one of the first names on the team sheet for the World Cup.

Rooney needs to be in there.

Will Hughes has been very good this season, surprised he's not having a look at him, i rate him above Cook.

Shelvey should be in the mix, he's a genuinely decent forward thinking midfielder, miles ahead of Livermore.

Lewis Dunk has been very good at Brighton, better than Mawson anyway.

Glen Murray, Callum Wilson, Troy Deeney all surely ahead of Welbeck.

Every English keeper on the planet that's not Joe Hart should be in ahead of Joe Hart.

If that is the level you need to be at the Rooney should be starting at the World Cup.

The reason is that Rooney is not there. A real leader, Titan for England.

Will Hughes has been injured half the season. He was never getting in the squad having only just come back.

I’m not a fan of Welbeck but he’s done well for England previously. Would much rather see him in the squad ahead of Wilson, Deeney and Murray.

He’s played with a lot of this squad as well. How do you create a team if you keep changing the squad and putting in players that have never played together?

Welbeck epitomises England ' try hard, run a lot, but have no real technique'.

say what you want about welbeck but his England record isnt bad at all with a goal nearly every other game.

some players play better for their countries than they do their club and vice versa.

The top scoring midfielder in Britain this year.

Good squad, blend of youngsters with seniors. A few older players needing to make their case to Southgate.
Good squad.

Little surprised players like Ryan Sessegnon, AMN, Foden or even Jadon Sancho weren't looked at - maybe post world cup as there is a fair bit of inexperience here.
