Brighton 1-2 Chelsea
Ocampos (Dalbert) 16; Aguero (Tolisso) 34, Mbappe (Aguero) 52
MOTM: Aguero

Brighton fought hard and took an early lead as some good work down the left from Dalbert created space on the inside left of the area for Ocampos to drill a shot across Butland and into the far corner.

Chelsea were struggling a little to get into the game with little to play for, but the equaliser came when Tolisso was allowed time to drive forward, he slipped a pass through to Aguero who made no mistake, slotting underneath the oncoming Patricio.

Chelsea were improved second half, and Aguero was played through on goal again, he unselfishly squared the ball to Mbappe who tapped home, and Chelsea led.

Chelsea then gave a masterclass in closing a game out, as they frustrated Brighton with their possession and the tactical change to a more defensive side. Brighton made changes with Luan and Muriel coming on but they were unable to force an equaliser, and Brighton now go into the final game of the season with their fate out of their own hands.

Newcastle 2-1 Leicester
Salah (Suarez) 37, Salah (Pjanic) 45; Asensio (James) 75
MOTM: Salah

A bit of an upset as Leicester fail to close out an invincible season or wrap up the title as they came up against a rampant Newcastle attack today. The opener came after good hold up play from Suarez, he laid the ball off to Salah who drilled it into the bottom corner from 20 yards.

Newcastle didn't sit back to their credit, and the second goal came on the stroke of half time, as Pjanic drifted out to the left, and his right footed inswinger was poked home by Salah getting in ahead of Azpilicueta from 8 yards.

Leicester eventually made the changes and they worked to an extent, James getting on the ball and finding Asensio free on the right hand edge of the area, Asensio firing home past Alisson. Leicester pushed to preserve their undefeated record but Newcastle shut up shop with Keita adding to the midfield, and were able to see out a big win in their own battle for 3rd.
