Did it help bring the World Cup to England? Nope. So it was a failed exercise. Still showing that Man U did the disrespectful thing of refusing entry into the FA Cup. Regardless of re-writes by Man U fans it wasn't done with the auspices of the FA.

So to class it as a trophy they are proud of when treating it with disdain previously is hypocritical

You can mention what you want, England did get Euro 96.

I admire Klopp because Liverpool play good football. I’d love to watch us play the type of football they play

We helped by taking all the flak by fans like you thinking we pulled out because we wanted to go gallivanting around South America. There are no rewrites, only fans wanting to blame the biggest club in the land. If anything, if you truely believe what you say about the FA cup being demeaned, your ire should be focused on the FA and the government of the time.

And GTWI4T, I think I'll be classier than Klopp and Jose by not going there. I'm sure you can think of the ways that Liverpool haven't helped English football.

Clubs fans were responsible for fan violence, hooliganism was a distinct English trait though, and Hysel was the last straw for UEFA and the sitting U.K. Government at the time.

Football hooligans had caused massive embarrassment to the Uk, from various clubs in various UEFA and English competitions.

No one should go to watch a football match and not expect to come back unscathed or abused.

It was a disgusting time for the game and for sure Liverpool fans were guilty of the same.

Using the ban as a pointscoring item just shows rank immaturity and ignorance of the matter.

Refusal to accept that is just deluded.

Go an have an ice cream son, you've done yourself proud here.
