Mental appointment if it is really happening.

Guess we just need to see how it plays out but beyond a gamble and last thing we need if you ask me.

Least it’s something to take the mind off tomorrow’s game

😳

Oh my good God. It’s like a voice from the past.

Where the fwck have you been?

😂👍

That's what having Steven Gerrard as manager does, or rejuvenates the club and support. Jinky will be coming back from the dead next to drink his whiskey with his boy.

Another advantage of Stevie G is with the World Cup coming up. He’ll be there in some capacity .. as a pundit or watching players. With his pedigree and reputation he may be a lie to entice a few players to come to Rangers that previously wouldn’t have considered us 👍

To turn rangers around we need winners at the club. We need a manager that can attract winners. Then they need to be organised into a system to win in the Scottish league ( hopefully not too difficult a task ) . The manager needs to be able to get the players motivated and to buy into his system etc. I think Gerard can do all those things.

The bonus is getting McAlister too.

Gerard has played at the highest level and is a winner.

It's a gamble like other similar appointments in the past in Scottish football, like dalgleish at Celtic and Barnes but I think Gerard is a different type of player from them, as is McAlister. Also it's a different era.

Gerard has to be better than Pedro or murty or mciness surely?

Spot on 👍

That’s exactly why it’s a great appointment. A winner with a winners mentality that knows exactly what is required to winat the highest level. Something we’ve sadly lacked for too long. Not anymore 👍

Fleetwood turned down Stevie G and gave it to Barton.

Brendan had not won the league either and look how that turned out.

What was Neil lennons experience before managing Celtic?

I think what may are missing here is the strong rumours circulating that Stevie G’s Assistant will be the long anticipated Jimmy M—Tin Jim, the big Farfar Bridie; Mightie Moffaticus; Moffet the Prophet; El Moff the Toff; Jim the Bim, the Great Recycler: Avengers A-shakening. Yesss.
Understand also that the outstanding Graeme Rix will be part of the Murray Park training set-up, especially requested by Stevie — Lourdes Miracle — Geraldus!!!

BTW — any confirmation of the rumour that Sir Graeme Rix is the cousin of the Late Lord Brian Rix, foremost British farceur & celebrated patron of Mencap over many years?

Neglectful is how I would say. Doesn’t seem to have taken a training session, yet can find time to give his opinion an a CL game.

It’s very odd...
